Securing the Future of Hunting through Outdoor Education How will today’s youth learn the value of wildlife and the North American Model for Wildlife Conservation? The most effective way is through the Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation’s Outdoor Adventures program. Outdoor Adventures is a yearlong (180 school days) public and private-school curriculum covering the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation, hunter education, archery and fishing. The program is taught through a school’s physical education department. Annually more than 50,000 students are enrolled in the course across 35 states, totaling over 9 million hours of outdoor education. Last year in Texas alone, 13,000 hunter education certificates were earned through Outdoor Adventures classes. With the generous support from Grand Slam Club Ovis and others, the Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation wants to reach 100,000 youth annually by 2022. The OTF needs your help to change the future of hunting through educating our youth today.
